Children's Rights

The campaign: Make It Right

A group of 9 young people have developed the campaign to raise awareness of children's rights in North Lanarkshire

The students have been involved in all the stages of the production of 'Make it Right', learning and contributing to every aspect of a marketing and communications campaign.

This includes coming up with a campaign concept and strapline, defining the audience, outlining the objectives, and deciding where and how it will be marketed.

  • Objective: to raise awareness that all children have rights.
  • Audience: 10 to 18-year-olds in North Lanarkshire (secondary audience is adults)
  • Strategy: to use positive influence by demonstrating life without children’s rights, encourage young people to know what their rights are, and signpost them to resources.

The campaign is being implemented in various channels such as social media, web, schools intranet, outdoor billboards, digital screens across venues, online media, etc.

The content is available in different digital formats, making it easy for the audience to share it on their accounts and spread the message among their friends and family.
